For those individual and businesses that wish to set up a Small Business or apply for a Small and Medium Enterprise we offer this service in order to obtain a Business Certificate of Registration.
REQUIREMENTS
- Name Search for availability
- Application Forms for Individual Owners, for Partnerships or for Local Companies
- Identification Card – this can be either a Passport, Social Security Card or Voter’s ID, original card or notarized copies must accompany the application
- Corporate Seal
NOTICE
If any foreigner is investing in a business, he or she should have a Belizean Residence Card.
COST AND FEES
The Cost of setting up a Business Name in Belize is as follows:
Processing Fees for Business Name US $ 100.00
General Sales Tax (10% of $100.00) US $ 10.00
Total US $ 110.00
Fees to the Government, Seal & Courier US $ 100.00
TOTAL DUE US $ 260.00
FOREIGN COMPANY
For those foreign investors who want to work in Belize under their Non-Belizean companies can now register their business in Belize to operate as a Foreign Company.
REQUIREMENTS
- Notarized Copies of Corporate Documents
- Passport Copies of Directors, Officers and Shareholders
- Complete Contact Information for Directors, Officers and Shareholders
FEE: For only US $165.00, tax included, you can register your foreign company in Belize.
